ConEd finally turned on the gas at 529 Hudson Street, at Charles Street. Founded by the late <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2022\/1\/14\/22884113\/ed-schoenfeld-chinese-historian-red-farm-restaurants-dies-at-72\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ed Schoenfeld<\/a> with Jeffrey and his son Zach Chodorow, the restaurant features items like Ed\u2019s pastrami egg rolls, Pac-Man dumplings, and crispy beef. Andy Wang, who has been with the restaurant since it <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2011\/8\/30\/6657333\/ed-schoenfeld-and-joe-ngs-red-farm-opens-tonight\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">opened<\/a> in 2011, remains director of operations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">In addition, RedFarm opened a new cocktail lounge, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.decoynyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Decoy<\/a>, in the basement of the restaurant. It operates on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, from 6 p.m. to midnight, with cocktails and its own menu. Soon, the kitchen will serve a Beijing duck prix fixe.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Schoenfeld <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2022\/1\/14\/22884113\/ed-schoenfeld-chinese-historian-red-farm-restaurants-dies-at-72\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">died<\/a> of cancer in 2022.
