How much do you really know \u2014 or truly understand \u2014 about the Supreme Law of the Land?<\/p>\n

The 13th Annual A Conversation with the Constitution event will bring San Antonio students and community members together this Wednesday for a Socratic-style discussion on how the U.S. Constitution impacts our daily lives. <\/p>\n

This conversation will focus on the 4th and 5th Amendments under the theme Probable Cause and Due Process. <\/p>\n

Why spend an evening discussing these specific amendments? Because the 4th Amendment protects people from unreasonable search and seizure, while the 5th Amendment provides fundamental legal protections in a court of law \u2014 highly relevant subjects at this moment in U.S. history. <\/p>\n

A welcome and introduction by journalist and author Paul Martin and Gemini Ink Board President Charles Massiatte will be followed by an opening question by Christopher Phillips, as well as discussions and breakout sessions. <\/p>\n

Please bring a copy of the Constitution for personal reference. <\/p>\n
