Police Crime Scene (KPRC\/Click2Houston.com)<\/p>\n

Human remains have been found underneath the carpets of a home that was abandoned after Hurricane Harvey. <\/p>\n

The incident happened at a property in the 4700 block of Whispering Falls Drive near Bear Creek Pioneers Park.<\/p>\n

The house had reportedly been condemned since Hurricane Harvey in 2017, and the family that had lived there sold it to a company.<\/p>\n

When the company examined the home Monday, human bones were found underneath the carpet.<\/p>\n

There was no smell to the remains, and investigators believe they had been there for years. It is unclear if foul play is being investigated. <\/p>\n

The Harris County Precinct Five Constable\u2019s Office is filing a report on the situation, and the medical examiner\u2019s office will investigate the remains.<\/p>\n
