Fort Worth\u2019s first luxury condos are hitting the market.<\/p>\n

The fourth unit in the Seven at Bowie House, 1217 Dorothy Lane, listed for a little under $5.5 million, about $2,000 per square foot. The seven condos are attached to Bowie House, the Auberge Resorts Collection hotel in Fort Worth\u2019s Cultural District<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 2,700-square-foot home, still under construction, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The other condos range from two to four bedrooms with asking prices between $5.5 million and $6.4 million, according to Douglas Elliman agent Hannah Sullivan, who has the listing.<\/p>\n

Entrepreneur and cutting horse champ Jo Ellard is the developer behind Bowie House. After years of traveling to Fort Worth for equestrian events, Ellard recognized the demand for luxury accommodations in Cowtown. The hotel and condos are close to Dickies Arena and the Will Rogers Memorial Center, which host rodeos and horse competitions. The property is also adjacent to the River Crest Country Club.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really the only thing like that there,\u201d Sullivan said. \u201cWe really don\u2019t have any competitors.\u201d<\/p>\n

The condos at Bowie House aren\u2019t just the first of their kind in Fort Worth; they\u2019re among the first in Texas<\/a>. Other branded luxury condo projects in the Texas pipeline include two Ritz-Carlton residences<\/a>, an Auberge-branded condo development and a St. Regis tower, all in the Houston area, and the Knox in Dallas<\/a>, another Auberge concept.<\/p>\n

Although three of the units have already sold, this fourth residence was the first to be listed publicly, according to Sullivan. The rest are also under construction, and the next two are expected to list in October and November.Residential inventory has been steadily piling up in Fort Worth. It\u2019s no longer a seller\u2019s market, <\/a>but inventory is still lower<\/a> than the average in Dallas and in Texas overall.<\/p>\n
