Now, he\u2019s bringing his most famous restaurant from Mexico City, <a href=\"https:\/\/pujol.com.mx\/eng\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pujol<\/a>, into New York for a 12-night pop-up this late fall for its 25th anniversary. The NYC restaurant residency takes place in the Financial District District office building <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/wsanyc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WSA<\/a> on 161 Water Street at Fletcher Street in November. Last year, Pujol is <a href=\"https:\/\/sandiego.eater.com\/2024\/5\/15\/24157295\/michelin-mexico-winners-guide-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the first restaurant<\/a> in Mexico to land two Michelin stars.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Pujol\u2019s New York stint is in celebration of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eater.com\/2017\/1\/27\/14415108\/pujol-mexico-city-new-location-photos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fine-dining restaurant<\/a>\u2019s 25th anniversary. Olvera opened Pujol in 2000, garnering accolades and becoming the dining destination of Mexico City for his approach of using deep-rooted Mexican food traditions and techniques for its high-end dishes. The eight-course NYC menu will feature its popular and famous dishes. This could mean potentially the famed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eater.com\/2016\/3\/21\/11162972\/mexico-city-guide-pujol-dulce-patria-quintonil\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mole madre, mole nuevo<\/a> (where <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eater.com\/22917182\/mole-making-traditions-oaxaca-mexico-restaurant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fresh mole is surrounded by very aged mole<\/a>), smoked elotes served in a pumpkin, and lots of corn tortillas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Pujol\u2019s NYC pop-ups run from Tuesday, November 11, through Saturday, November 22, with seatings at 5 and 8 p.m. Reservations will be available on Resy starting on Wednesday, October 1.
