SAN ANTONIO – Residents on the south side are being told not to be alarmed as Bomb Squad officers conduct their training.<\/p>\n
From 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) Bomb Squad Unit will be conducting training at the San Antonio Police Training Academy, near the corner of Loop 410 and Pleasanton Road.<\/p>\n
According to a post from SAPD on X (formerly Twitter), the Bomb Squad will be conducting controlled detonations as a part of training.<\/p>\n
The community is advised not to be alarmed, as this is routine training.
