Fort Worth-based North American Rail Solutions has tapped a veteran operator to help lead expansion for its growing American Track subsidiary, which provides turnkey railroad infrastructure services across the U.S.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The company has named Stacey Posey as chief operating officer of American Track, which specializes in the design, repair, construction, and inspection of critical rail systems serving industrial, municipal, logistics, and short-line customers.<\/p>\n

Posey brings more than 26 years of experience in rail operations, corporate strategy, and business development.<\/p>\n

In announcing the move, NARS CEO Tom Lucario pointed to the platform\u2019s momentum and the need to scale leadership alongside it. \u201cAmerican Track and North American Rail Solutions continue to experience remarkable growth,\u201d Lucario said in a statement. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe could not be happier to have the opportunity to add someone of Stacey\u2019s caliber to the team. We look forward to bringing his \u2018in the field\u2019 style of leadership to the broader organization,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Posey began his rail career at CSX Transportation in 2001 and later served as vice president of operations, then president and CEO of Montana Rail Link, where he led the company to growth, improved safety, and record profitability. He also held leadership roles at OmniTRAX, contributing to engineering, operations, and acquisitions, and later helped position a construction tech startup for acquisition.<\/p>\n

The appointment adds another layer of operational depth as NARS builds out its national footprint.<\/p>\n

Formed in 2021 following DFW Capital Partners\u2019 acquisition of American Track, North American Rail Solutions now operates more than 30 full-service offices across the U.S. and Canada. The company supports infrastructure in sectors ranging from petrochemical and mining to manufacturing, ports, transit, and Class I railroads.<\/p>\n

Posey\u2019s hire follows a string of acquisitions that have rapidly extended NARS\u2019 reach and capabilities. In 2024 and 2025 alone, the company added Strategic Rail in the Midwest<\/a>, West Rail Construction<\/a> in the Pacific Northwest, and Rapid Track<\/a> in the Southeast. Just this month, it announced a combination with ZA Construction, <\/a>further boosting its offerings for Class I, short-line, and industrial rail clients.<\/p>\n

Today, the company says it is the largest provider of mission-critical railroad inspection, construction, and maintenance services in North America.<\/p>\n
