PHOENIX \u2014 A man was seriously injured in a shooting in west Phoenix early Tuesday morning, authorities said.<\/p>\n

According to the Phoenix Police Department, officers responded to the area of 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road<\/a> for reports of a shooting around 3:13 a.m.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.<\/p>\n

The Phoenix Fire Department took the man to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Police said that officers had obtained information that indicated the shooting occurred at a nearby apartment complex. However, they were unable to locate the scene.<\/p>\n

Detectives are investigating the shooting.<\/p>\n

The man\u2019s identity was not released.<\/p>\n
