The seven-story development is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2027.<\/p>\n<p>The project sits on 3.5 acres along the Trinity Trails. Plans call for premium finishes, two resort-style pools, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a dog spa, and a two-story parking garage. A ground-floor restaurant will further activate the district\u2019s dining and street-level experience.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve designed this community to embrace its surroundings by connecting residents directly to everything the University District and the Trinity Trail have to offer, while also creating a vibrant living environment with premium amenities and thoughtful design,\u201d said Chad A. Colley, multifamily and mixed-use partner at Trademark, in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>The Fort Worth City Council approved an <a href=\"https:\/\/fortworthinc.com\/real-estate\/westbend-phase-ii-on-university\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">economic development agreement<\/a> that provides $3 million in grants over 10 years to help fund the $82 million project.<\/p>\n<p>Westbend Residences represents the second phase of the Westbend mixed-use development, which Trademark redeveloped in 2016 into 281,000 square feet of office and retail space, now fully leased.
