The pursuit began around 9:16 p.m. and ended just before 10:30 p.m. when the driver surrendered in North Hills.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after sparks flew from the back of the vehicle while traveling on the 405 Freeway, the driver exited onto Roscoe Boulevard and surrendered to authorities.
