JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 A male in his mid teens was hospitalized after being shot in the back early Wednesday in Arlington. Jacksonville police said during a news conference Wednesday morning that the teen was caught in the crossfire during a shootout between groups in two vehicles.<\/p>\n
Police responded to the 3700 block of Rogero Road near Fort Caroline Road at about 1:45 a.m. in response to a person shot.<\/p>\n
Police said they have detained three people and located three firearms at the location of the incident. Police also said they have recovered the two vehicles involved in the shootout.<\/p>\n
Police characterized the teen\u2019s injuries as non-life threatening. <\/p>\n
