Partner Ryan Nordhaus and associate attorneys Andrew Boone and Chad Osbourn have joined Cantey Hanger.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
“We’re pleased to add a partner in Dallas,\u00a0and two associates we expect will learn and continue the legacy of a firm that has served clients with expertise and exactness for 143 years,” said Brian Newby, the firm’s managing partner, in a statement.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Nordhaus is board-certified in family law, a credentialed mediator in civil and family law, and a member of the Family Law, Computer and Technology and Alternative Dispute Resolution sections of the\u00a0State Bar of Texas.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
He earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M) in 2002, and three years later graduated from\u00a0SMU’s Dedman School of Law with a\u00a0Master of Laws in Taxation. He has a BBA in management information systems and\u00a0international business\u00a0from Baylor University.<\/p>\n
Nordhaus is licensed by\u00a0the State Bar of Texas\u00a0and admitted\u00a0to practice in all state courts and district courts in the Northern, Eastern and Western districts of Texas.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He is a 10-time honoree of\u00a0Texas Monthly\u00a0Super Lawyers.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Boone is a 2023 graduate of\u00a0Baylor University School of Law, having made the Dean’s List all nine quarters and earning magna cum laude status. He earned a bachelor\u2019s in fine arts from\u00a0Abilene Christian University.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Most recently, Boone served as a law clerk for Judge Mark T. Pittman of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.<\/p>\n
Osbourn graduated from\u00a0Texas Tech University School of Law and completed his undergraduate work with a\u00a0bachelor\u2019s in agribusiness at\u00a0Tarleton State University.
