SAN ANTONIO – A man was arrested Monday night in connection with the shooting deaths of two men over the weekend at a Northwest Side apartment complex.<\/p>\n

Joe John Perez, 54, was charged with capital murder of multiple persons. <\/p>\n

The deadly shootings happened around 2 a.m. Sunday Casa Del Sol Apartments off Callaghan Road near Interstate 10. <\/p>\n

Officers found a 26-year-old man dead at the front entrance. As they searched the complex, they discovered 40-year-old Jose Gregorio Yanez-Nava lying in front of an apartment door, also fatally shot.<\/p>\n

Investigators reported that an altercation involving multiple people preceded the shooting.<\/p>\n

Detectives, using witness accounts and video surveillance, gathered evidence showing Perez shot both victims. <\/p>\n
