Ned Fulmer, former wife guy of the Try Guys, is separated<\/a> from his wife, Ariel, whom he admitted to cheating<\/a> on with an employee three years ago. He was removed from the company following the scandal, which was so big that\u00a0Saturday Night Live<\/a>\u00a0parodied it. But he\u2019s now ready to make a comeback. On September 16, before reports about a separation broke, Ned insisted in a People interview that his relationship with Ariel was \u201ccertainly stronger than it was before\u201d \u2014\u00a0and announced that she would be the first guest on his (rebranded)<\/a> podcast, Rock Bottom.<\/p>\n Below, everything we know about Ned Fulmer\u2019s pivot to ex-wife guy.<\/p>\n They have separated, People<\/a> confirmed. However, it seems we\u2019re meant to believe that they\u2019re still on good terms: Ned\u2019s rep told People that he still \u201ccares deeply\u201d for Ariel, adding that they are working on something new (though it\u2019s not clear what) and went to Greece together with their children this summer.<\/p>\n TMZ<\/a> was the first to report that Ned and Ariel had split, citing sources close to the couple \u2014\u00a0and publishing a photo of him out with another woman at the Zebulon music venue in Los Angeles on September 7. There was no PDA, an eyewitness said, but the pair were chatting \u201cfor a really long time.\u201d<\/p>\n Ned previously insisted in a September 16 interview that his relationship with Ariel post-affair was \u201ccertainly stronger than it was before,\u201d telling People<\/a>, \u201cWe have a much clearer sense of boundaries \u2014\u00a0understanding and respecting each other\u2019s boundaries \u2014 as well as integrity and being direct with each other, even when it might be unpleasant.\u201d According to Ned, they built a new \u201cfoundation of trust\u201d and reached \u201ca place of healing\u201d after going to couples therapy.<\/p>\n Ned is returning to content creation with Rock Bottom, a show that promises to explore \u201cpeople\u2019s lowest, most embarrassing, and challenging moments\u201d and feature \u201craw, unfiltered conversations with comedians, creators, authors, and celebrities\u201d who will discuss \u201chow they not only survived it all but transformed their lives.\u201d Ariel appears on the first episode of his podcast on September 17 \u2026 although, technically, it used to be her podcast, too.<\/p>\n Ned\u2019s Rock Bottom YouTube channel is actually just the renamed page for Baby Steps, a parenting podcast he used to co-host with Ariel. (We know this because the account\u2019s handle is currently still @babysteps<\/a>.) Years-old reviews of the podcast on Apple Podcasts and Spotify make it clear that he did the same thing on those platforms, too. Rock Bottom is not building from the bottom up.<\/p>\n
