It\u2019s a joy to even be associated with an institution that supports and maintains the thing we love most\u2026 independence and expression via the silver screen,\u201d said Stewart in response to the acquisition.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tNews of the deal comes ahead of the film\u2019s screening in the Dare section of the BFI Film Festival in October, which Stewart will attend. All three sessions have already sold out. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tBased on Lidia Yuknavitch\u2019s memoir and adapted for the screen by Stewart,\u00a0The Chronology of Water\u00a0is the portrait of a woman who, after an abusive childhood, escapes into competitive swimming, sexual experimentation, toxic relationships, and addiction before finding her voice through writing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u00a0The film stars Imogen Poots as Yuknavitch, in what critics have hailed as a revelatory performance. She is joined by Jim Belushi, Thora Birch, Charlie Carrick, Susannah Flood, Kim Gordon, and Tom Sturridge.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cKristen Stewart\u2019s career has been studded with daring choices.
