Green Asphalt, which has been operating since 2011, maintains there is no health risk associated with the facility.<\/p>\n<p><b>5.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ny1.com\/nyc\/all-boroughs\/business\/2025\/09\/17\/federal-reserve-powell-september-meeting\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federal Reserve cuts key rate by quarter-point, signals two more cuts this year<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Federal Reserve cut its key interest rate by a quarter-point today and projected it would do so twice more this year as concern grows at the central bank about the health of the nation&#8217;s labor market.<\/p>\n<p>The move is the Fed&#8217;s first cut since December and lowered its short-term rate to about 4.1%, down from 4.3%.<\/p>\n<p><b>6.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ny1.com\/nyc\/all-boroughs\/news\/2025\/09\/16\/acip-vaccine-meeting-what-s-at-stake\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vaccine advisory committee in the spotlight in first meetings since CDC shakeups<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Nearly four months after the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention altered its recommendations for COVID-19 vaccinations, the agency\u2019s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices will meet this week to vote on a new round of vaccine policies.<\/p>\n<p>In June, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F.
