The hotel is also opening a new restaurant from the group, called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parkrosenyc.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Park Rose<\/a>, which will open on Thursday, October 23, a spokesperson confirms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Mr. Lyan is best known for a string of bars that altered London\u2019s cocktail landscape: White Lyan (which opened in 2013 in Shoreditch), Dandelyan (opened in 2014, at what was then the Mondrian hotel on the South Bank, later rebranded to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.seacontainerslondon.com\/eat-drink\/lyaness\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lyaness<\/a>), Seed Library in East London, Super Lyan in Amsterdam, and <a href=\"https:\/\/dc.eater.com\/2023\/11\/22\/23969802\/dc-most-exclusive-dishonesty-bar-riggs-hotel-mr-lyan?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Silver Lyan<\/a> in Washington D.C. Each is famous for its pairing techniques, focus on sustainability, and flavor experimentations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">Mr. Lyan debuted stateside in early 2020 with the opening of Silver Lyan in the depths of D.C.\u2019s Riggs hotel. The newly crowned <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theworlds50best.com\/discovery\/Establishments\/US\/Washington-DC\/Silver-Lyan.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">World\u2019s 50 Best<\/a> bar focuses on storytelling through <a href=\"https:\/\/dc.eater.com\/2023\/6\/20\/23766634\/silver-lyan-cocktail-menu-makeover-penn-quarter-dc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">daring<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/dc.eater.com\/dining-out-in-dc\/160729\/silver-lyan-best-dc-cocktail-bars-new-menu-summer-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">drink menus<\/a> conceived with a laboratory-like lens. Silver Lyan\u2019s location in an 1800s-era bank vault space surrounded in glass-enclosed silver trophies, along with a <a href=\"https:\/\/dc.eater.com\/2023\/11\/22\/23969802\/dc-most-exclusive-dishonesty-bar-riggs-hotel-mr-lyan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">speakeasy curiously tucked inside a gym<\/a>, is part of how Chetiyawardana\u2019s bars often reflect their architecture and settings with an added touch of whimsy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">In New York, expect reimagined classics at Seed Library, <a href=\"https:\/\/classbarmag.com\/news\/fullstory.php\/aid\/540\/First_look_at_Mr_Lyan_s_Seed_Library.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a riff on his East London bar<\/a> that\u2019s more organic and looser compared to his other bars. According to past coverage of the London version, it leans lo-fi in both its aesthetics and its drink philosophy. Drinks change frequently.
