{"id":235893,"date":"2025-09-18T08:08:18","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T08:08:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/235893\/"},"modified":"2025-09-18T08:08:18","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T08:08:18","slug":"caldwell-communities-breaks-ground-on-phase-2-of-discovery-cove-in-the-highlands","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/235893\/","title":{"rendered":"Caldwell Communities breaks ground on Phase 2 of Discovery Cove in The Highlands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\tOfficials with Caldwell Communities, the developer of The Highlands in Porter, hosted a groundbreaking ceremony Sept. 16 for Phase 2 of the master-planned community&#8217;s amenity center, Discovery Cove.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What to expect <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to information posted via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheHighlandsTX\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Highlands&#8217; Facebook page<\/a>, Phase 2 will feature:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A resort-style, adult-only pool<\/li>\n<li>A fitness center<\/li>\n<li>A movement studio<\/li>\n<li>Gathering space<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8220;These additions will bring even more opportunities for connection, wellness and relaxation right here in the heart of The Highlands,&#8221; the post reads.<\/p>\n<p>A projected completion date for Phase 2 had not been announced as of press time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Some context <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As previously reported by Community Impact, Phase 1 of Discovery Cove <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/houston\/new-caney-porter\/development\/2025\/04\/24\/the-highlands-to-debut-waterpark-15-new-model-homes-with-free-family-event-in-porter\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">opened<\/a> in May and includes a waterpark featuring waterslides, splash pads, a 10-minute lazy river, a dive pool, and a beach-entry, resort-style pool.<\/p>\n<p>The Highlands is a 2,300-acre master-planned community by Caldwell Communities located in Porter.
