More than three years after a woman was pushed to her death in front of an approaching New York City subway, a New York congressman is making a renewed push for legislation to expand access to mental health treatment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This week, Rep. Dan Goldman is reintroducing the\u00a0Michelle Alyssa Go Act<\/a>, which is named in honor of the 40-year-old woman who was\u00a0pushed by a schizophrenic man onto the tracks<\/a>. The 2022 incident stoked concerns about subway safety and random acts of violence in the city.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A 95-year-old woman has been charged with murder in the second degree for allegedly killing her 89-year-old roommate, according to a new criminal complaint.<\/p>\n

Police responded to calls of an assault at the Seagate Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Coney Island, Brooklyn, Sunday night.<\/p>\n
