The phone lines are open, and we have people standing by ready to take your call.<\/p>\n<p>We are raising money for ThriveWell Cancer Foundation in honor of our friend, former Fox San Antonio anchor Karen Martinez, who passed away in 2013 after a lengthy battle with cancer.<\/p>\n<p>There are several prizes for those who donate such as a Cancun resort giveaway, Nothing Bundt Cakes for a year and more. <\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to donate, you can call (210) 366-1434, text &#8220;healhearts&#8221; to 202-999-3805 or scan the QR code on your screen.<\/p>\n<p>This phone bank aims to raise money for the non-profit so it can provide transportation, financial assistance and so much more for those fighting cancer. <\/p>\n<p>Where your money goes<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>$25 &#8211; A ride to the clinic for treatment<\/li>\n<li>$50 &#8211; Gas to get to appointments<\/li>\n<li>$150 &#8211; Two-night stay for patient travel<\/li>\n<li>$1,000 &#8211; Chemo or radiation co-payments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>100% of donation goes to SA families<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The mission to defeat cancer is underway, but your support is critically needed.
