A slew of people are reporting that the Starbucks app<\/a> is completely broken. With too-perfect irony, the thing that is breaking it is an app satisfaction survey \u2026<\/p>\n

Multiple users are reporting that the app forces you to complete the survey before you can use the app to do anything radical like, oh, I don\u2019t know, ordering a cup of coffee. The problem is that even after you have completed the survey, it still doesn\u2019t let you in: it just loops back to the survey.<\/p>\n

Twitter user Ike<\/a> found a workaround.<\/p>\n

To bypass the dreaded Starbucks App survey bug, you can hold your finger down on the app from the Home Screen and choose “order.”<\/p>\n

We were able to confirm that this works. So, yep, don\u2019t open the app. Instead, long-press on the app from your Home Screen and then tap Order. <\/p>\n

How Starbucks managed to release this update into the wild without spotting this rather fundamental flaw is a complete mystery. And yeah, move the straws back too.<\/p>\n
