STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. \u2014 Mayor Eric Adams announced Thursday that the city would be sending out rebate checks to some homeowners who purchased official city trash bins.<\/p>\n

In the coming weeks, the checks, valued at $59.30, will go to one- and two-family homeowners who receive the Basic or Enhanced School Tax Relief (STAR or E-STAR) credit or exemption.<\/p>\n
