The body that was recovered in a Houston bayou earlier this week has been identified as a missing University of Houston student.<\/p>\n

Jada McKissic, 20, was identified as the body recovered near 4998 Medical Service Drive in Houston on Monday.<\/p>\n

O<\/b>UR FIRST REPORT: <\/b>Body located in Houston\u2019s Brays Bayou<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

According to a report by The Cougar,<\/a> McKissic was last seen at LA Burgers and Daquiris on Sept. 11. She was reported missing on Sept. 14.<\/p>\n

The Cougar\u2019s report also said McKissic was a junior at the university, majoring in strategic communications and advertising.<\/p>\n

The medical examiner\u2019s office has not released McKissic\u2019s cause of death at this time.<\/p>\n
