The first is called Hyperscape Capture. It lets Quest 3 and Quest 3S owners scan a room with their headset and turn it into a digital space. The scans are processed in the cloud and a full version is ready in two to four hours. These included Gordon Ramsay\u2019s kitchen in Los Angeles, Chance the Rapper\u2019s studio, and the UFC Octagon in Las Vegas. The company said the feature is a step toward photorealistic social teleportation. This new feature might signal Meta\u2019s commitment to the Metaverse, despite past failures.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, META shares declined yesterday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/stocks\/meta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">by 0.42% to close at $775.72.<\/a> However, the stock has risen over 32% year-to-date. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/stocks\/meta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"775\" height=\"401\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/image-1552.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2428961\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Horizon TV Brings Streaming to Quest<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the same event, Meta also launched Horizon TV, a new streaming hub for its headsets. The service gathers content from Amazon Prime Video <a data-ticker=\"AMZN\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/stocks\/amzn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(AMZN)<\/a>, Peacock, Disney Plus <a data-ticker=\"DIS\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/stocks\/dis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(DIS)<\/a>, Hulu, and ESPN. The hub includes separate sections for movies, shows, sports, music, and immersive titles. It already supports Dolby Atmos <a data-ticker=\"DLB\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/stocks\/dlb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(DLB)<\/a> and will add Dolby Vision later in the year. In addition, Meta is working with Universal Pictures and Blumhouse to bring 3D versions of some films to the platform.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Meta removed user-uploaded content from its TV app. Horizon TV now shows the shift to a professional lineup with big studio and network partners.<\/p>\n<p>These moves build on Meta\u2019s mixed reality push with the Quest 3 and the lower-cost Quest 3S priced at $299. The company faces rising competition in virtual reality while also investing in smart glasses powered by artificial intelligence. By adding a consumer tool for real-world scanning and a broad streaming service, Meta is aiming to make its headsets more useful in everyday life. At the same time, this could also be a cautious step towards <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tipranks.com\/news\/meta-pivots-from-metaverse-to-ai-ads-and-its-already-boosting-revenue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mark Zuckerberg\u2019s original vision \u2013 the Metaverse<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is META Stock a Buy or Sell?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the Street, Meta continues to boast a Strong Buy consensus rating.
