Austin Butler has purchased a Los Angeles home from Brad Pitt, months after the high-profile property was hit by burglars. <\/p>\n
According to real estate sources for TMZ<\/a>, the \u201cElvis\u201d actor, 34, acquired the \u201cF1\u201d star\u2019s historic Los Feliz property for $5.2 million after closing on the sale last Friday. <\/p>\n A rep for Butler did not immediately return Page Six\u2019s request for comment on the purchase. <\/p>\n Austin Butler has acquired a Los Angeles home formerly owned by Brad Pitt, according to a real estate source for TMZ. Getty Images<\/p>\n The deal between the \u201cOnce Upon a Time in Hollywood\u201d co-stars came almost three months after Pitt\u2019s estate was targeted by thieves in June. <\/p>\n An LAPD spokesperson told Page Six at the time that three suspects \u201cransacked\u201d the property late on June 25 <\/a>after scaling a fence and breaking in through a front window. <\/p>\n They fled with an unknown amount of items, though the actor wasn\u2019t home. Pitt was away on the \u201cF1\u201d press tour during the burglary, hitting red carpet<\/a> premieres in New York<\/a>, <\/a>Mexico and London<\/a>.<\/p>\n Prior to the sale, the home was hit by burglars while Pitt was away promoting \u201cF1\u201d in June. BACKGRID<\/p>\n The sale comes only two years after the \u201cWolfs\u201d actor, 61, acquired the home himself in a star-studded estate swap with oil heiress Aileen Getty, according to the Daily Mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n In April 2023, the father of six scooped up the L-shaped property \u2014 known as \u201cThe Steel House\u201d \u2014 for $5.5 million from Getty, while she purchased his previous home in the same area for $33 million.<\/p>\n Butler\u2019s impressive new three-bedroom, two-bathroom home has just over 2000 square feet of living space, and features solar panels, a luxury built in sauna and an expansive outdoor pool among other amenities.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n The Post confirmed earlier this month that Pitt purchased a new Hollywood Hills home.
