After a statement win in San Diego last weekend, Minnesota is riding the momentum into a cross-conference clash with a Chicago side hovering just above the wildcard play-in line. Every point matters as the Loons chase the league\u2019s best record in the Supporters\u2019 Shield race, just three points behind league-leading Philadelphia.<\/p>\n<p>Having fallen to Austin in the last minutes of a tense overtime match, the Loons are out of the U.S. Open Cup. Despite the loss, there\u2019s a silver lining here: Minnesota can now turn their full attention to league play, navigating less schedule congestion and focusing on finishing the regular season strong.<\/p>\n<p>Plus, it\u2019s Hispanic Heritage Night! Join us in celebrating the Twin Cities\u2019 vibrant Hispanic community with a live art installation by Charlie Garcia and more. Swetha Subramanian will be honored as the Allina Scoreboard Keeper of the Game, and Enrique Salazar will be recognized as our SeatGeek Fan of the Game. Additionally, 1-year-old border collie mix Shiloh and 2-year old pitbull mix Mateo will be honored as the NutriSource SuperStars. MNUFC will also honor Karen Velez-Barron as the Target L&#8217;\u00c9toile du Nord and Brian Argueta Garcia of the U.S. Marine Corps as the Xcel Energy Eye of the Loon, and Finley\u2019s ambassador Libby will deliver the game ball.<\/p>\n<p>\n      <strong>Nightlight Giveaway<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of Xcel Energy\u2019s Sustainability Night, pick up one of 10,000 nightlights on your way out after the game, while supplies last!<\/p>\n<p>\n      <strong>Do Some Good!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Collection bins for pop tabs from your canned beverages are available throughout the stadium on the side of trash bins (and outside, if you\u2019d like to bring tabs from home). Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community, as we raise funds for the <a href=\"https:\/\/rmhc-uppermidwest.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Upper Midwest.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Reduce Your Waste with BizRecycling and WM<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Help Allianz Field limit the amount of waste produced on gamedays by sorting your waste into the BizRecycling and WM organics, recycling, or trash receptacles.<\/p>\n<p>As part of a stadium-wide water sustainability effort in partnership with Ecolab, MNUFC has six water bottle refill stations around the concourse sections 9, 15, 21, 25, 30, and 36. Bring in empty, clear plastic bottles to use at the water stations.
