1.\u00a0The families of 12 more victims join lawsuit against Hill Country resort<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

On Aug. 12, Glasheen, Valles & Inderman Injury Lawyers\u00a0announced that they filed a lawsuit<\/a>\u00a0on behalf of the family of Jayda Floyd, a 22-year-old from Odessa, Texas, who tragically lost her life when floodwaters swept through HTR TX Hill Country Resort, a luxury RV park and campground on the Guadalupe River in Kerrville, Texas.<\/p>\n

On Friday, the families of 12 additional victims joined the lawsuit against HTR TX Hill Country Resort.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0Rep. Michael McCaul explains why he’s not seeking reelection to Congress after 20 years<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n

The president of Texas A&M University, roiled by the posting of a video showing a confrontation between a student and a professor during a course in which gender identity was discussed, on Friday did not offer a specific reason for why\u00a0he’s stepping down<\/a>\u00a0but said in the past few days \u201cit’s become clear that now is that time\u201d to leave.<\/p>\n
