{"id":240569,"date":"2025-09-20T04:10:13","date_gmt":"2025-09-20T04:10:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/240569\/"},"modified":"2025-09-20T04:10:13","modified_gmt":"2025-09-20T04:10:13","slug":"friends-of-flathead-hosts-annual-used-book-sale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/240569\/","title":{"rendered":"Friends of Flathead hosts annual used book sale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KALISPELL &#8211; Friends of Flathead, an organization that aims to improve and enhance libraries in the Flathead Valley, held its annual book sale.<\/p>\n<p>The sale is their main fundraiser and takes place at the Kalispell Center Mall, where thousands of donated books and other media, such as DVDs, are sold for discounted prices.<\/p>\n<p>All of the proceeds go directly towards library programs that are not featured in their budget, such as children&#8217;s story hour.<\/p>\n<p>The large crowds prove that there is a need for the library in the Flathead Valley.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt just shows us that there is really a need and a want for books and materials in our community.
