MGK revealed the \u201ctorture\u201d he went through for his large blackout tattoo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The \u201cBad Things\u201d hitmaker \u2014 whose real name is Colson Baker \u2014 detailed the painful experience during his Thursday appearance on \u201cThe Jennifer Hudson Show,\u201d<\/a> sharing that his goal was to \u201credesign\u201d his body.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve realized through research that this is from someone who has extremely high anxiety,\u201d the musician said. \u201cBut in my head, it really interested me in redesigning the anatomy.\u201d<\/p>\n

MGK called the process of getting his blackout tattoo the \u201cworst torture\u201d he\u2019s ever experienced as he explained the story behind it on \u201cThe Jennifer Hudson Show.\u201d Getty Images<\/p>\n

\u201cIn my head, it really interested me in redesigning the anatomy,\u201d he told host Jennifer Hudson.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou know the skin is the largest organ that we have,\u201d he continued. \u201cI\u2019ve already had all tattoos since I was 13, my whole body has been covered for a long time, and I just wanted to redesign what the human skin could look like, so I came up with, well I didn\u2019t, but a friend of mine named Roxx came up with this.\u201d<\/p>\n

When Hudson asked if it was painful, MGK, 35, said it was the \u201cworst torture I\u2019ve ever experienced.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYeah, I don\u2019t do, like, the going under and numbing and waking up, I don\u2019t do any of that,\u201d he continued, adding that he \u201chad to thug it out.\u201d <\/p>\n

The large blackout piece covers most of the artist\u2019s upper-half, going down his arms, across his chest and down his stomach.<\/p>\n

Having already been covered head to toe in artwork, some of his original tattoos still show through the blackened skin \u2014 one of them being a piece designed by his now 16-year-old daughter, Casie.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

\u201cShe did a little tattoo on me, so I kept that on me there,\u201d he said of his eldest daughter, whom he shares with his ex Emma Cannon. He\u2019s also dad to 5-month-old daughter, Saga Blade, whom he welcomed with ex-girlfriend Megan Fox.<\/p>\n

The \u201cEmo Girl\u201d artist debuted his new inked-up body with a shocking Instagram post in February.<\/p>\n

In February, MGK told his fans the blackout piece happened after having a \u201cbreakdown.\u201d Tom Briglia<\/p>\n

He later told his fans in his song, \u201cDon\u2019t Let Me Go,\u201d that he decided to tattoo the masterpiece after having a \u201cbreakdown.\u201d <\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cLately my thoughts eating me alive \/ laid in the bed thinking maybe the hate\u2019ll finally go away if I\u2019m not alive,\u201d MGK raps at the beginning of the track while playing piano.<\/p>\n
