{"id":240696,"date":"2025-09-20T05:26:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-20T05:26:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/240696\/"},"modified":"2025-09-20T05:26:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-20T05:26:09","slug":"mgk-describes-the-worst-torture-of-redesigning-his-body-with-giant-blackout-tattoo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/240696\/","title":{"rendered":"MGK describes the &#8216;worst torture&#8217; of &#8216;redesigning&#8217; his body with giant blackout tattoo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MGK revealed the \u201ctorture\u201d he went through for his <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/02\/20\/style\/machine-gun-kelly-shows-off-wild-new-blackout-tattoos-on-his-arms-chest-and-torso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">large blackout tattoo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cBad Things\u201d hitmaker \u2014 whose real name is Colson Baker \u2014 detailed the painful experience during his Thursday appearance on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=c0QykjRuOTM&amp;ab_channel=JenniferHudsonShow\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cThe Jennifer Hudson Show,\u201d<\/a> sharing that his goal was to \u201credesign\u201d his body.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve realized through research that this is from someone who has extremely high anxiety,\u201d the musician said. \u201cBut in my head, it really interested me in redesigning the anatomy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>MGK called the process of getting his blackout tattoo the \u201cworst torture\u201d he\u2019s ever experienced as he explained the story behind it on \u201cThe Jennifer Hudson Show.\u201d Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn my head, it really interested me in redesigning the anatomy,\u201d he told host Jennifer Hudson.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know the skin is the largest organ that we have,\u201d he continued. \u201cI\u2019ve already had all tattoos since I was 13, my whole body has been covered for a long time, and I just wanted to redesign what the human skin could look like, so I came up with, well I didn\u2019t, but a friend of mine named Roxx came up with this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When Hudson asked if it was painful, MGK, 35, said it was the \u201cworst torture I\u2019ve ever experienced.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, I don\u2019t do, like, the going under and numbing and waking up, I don\u2019t do any of that,\u201d he continued, adding that he \u201chad to thug it out.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBig mistake, but my morals stand,\u201d he added. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t do, like, the going under and numbing and waking up, I don\u2019t do any of that,\u201d he told Hudson of the painful experience. He\u2019s also dad to 5-month-old daughter, Saga Blade, whom he welcomed with ex-girlfriend Megan Fox.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cEmo Girl\u201d artist debuted his new inked-up body with a shocking Instagram post in February.<\/p>\n<p>However, the \u201cEmo Girl\u201d hitmaker did leave the tattoo designed by his 16-year-old daughter, Casie, untouched.  Luiz Rampelotto\/NurPhoto\/Shutterstock<\/p>\n<p>In February, MGK told his fans the blackout piece happened after having a \u201cbreakdown.\u201d Tom Briglia<\/p>\n<p>He later told his fans in his song, \u201cDon\u2019t Let Me Go,\u201d that he decided to tattoo the masterpiece after <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/02\/21\/style\/machine-gun-kelly-explains-blackout-tattoo-in-new-song-dont-let-me-go\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">having a \u201cbreakdown.\u201d <\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cLately my thoughts eating me alive \/ laid in the bed thinking maybe the hate\u2019ll finally go away if I\u2019m not alive,\u201d MGK raps at the beginning of the track while playing piano.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWish I didn\u2019t listen just like I wish they would understand me one time \/ I had a breakdown and tatted my entire body except one line \/ Everything\u2019s just fine.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"MGK revealed the \u201ctorture\u201d he went through for his large blackout tattoo.
