\n\tThe offices of KXTV (ABC10<\/a>) in Sacramento were struck by gunfire Friday afternoon, Sacramento police Officer Anthony Gamble told Deadline. No one was injured.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe day before, the building of KXTV, an ABC<\/a> affiliate station owned by Tegna, was the site of a protest over the network\u2019s suspension of Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> Live! No protesters were at the building when shots were fired.<\/p>\n

\n\tOfficers responded to reports of shots fired at the TV station shortly after 1:30 pm Friday. Gamble said at least three gunshots were fired from a passing vehicle into a window of the building, which was occupied at the time. Police did not have a description of the suspect vehicle, nor did they have any suspects.<\/p>\n

\n\tDetectives were at the scene and investigating whether the shooting was random or targeted. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe demonstration outside the building Thursday was part of widespread protests over ABC\u2019s suspension of Kimmel<\/a> following his comments about Charlie Kirk<\/a>, including one held outside Disney studios in Burbank<\/a> and another in Hollywood<\/a> where Jimmy Kimmel Live<\/a>! is taped. Attendees at the Sacramento protest held signs reading \u201cFirst Amendment,\u201d \u201cResist\u201d and \u201cYou\u2019re Next\u201d among others.<\/p>\n
