Here\u2019s when to expect the update on your Galaxy device, and which devices are already eligible for the update.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s new in Android 16 on Samsung Galaxy?<\/p>\n<p>Android 16 ushers in a <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2025\/09\/03\/android-16-qpr1-pixel\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">new design style on Pixel devices with Google\u2019s Material 3 Expressive<\/a>, but the update isn\u2019t quite as major on Samsung Galaxy devices. That\u2019s largely because One UI 7 just recently delivered an overhaul to Samsung\u2019s style, so One UI 8 is mostly a function update with some new features and refinements.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s new?<\/p>\n<p>Some standouts include:<\/p>\n<p>\tAdvertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/p>\n<p>Those are just a few of the new features, but overall One UI 8 will feel pretty familiar to One UI 7.<\/p>\n<p>Samsung Galaxy devices with Android 16 \u2013 The full list<\/p>\n<p>Samsung started the stable rollout of One UI 8, based on Android 16, on September 15, 2025. The update is rolling out now to the Galaxy S25 series globally, and is also available out of the box on Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, Galaxy S25 FE, and the Galaxy Tab S11 series.<\/p>\n<p>This list will be continuously updated over the coming months with the latest additions marked in bold text. Check back regularly!<\/p>\n<p>Galaxy S devices with Android 16<\/p>\n<p>Kicking things off in September, Samsung is rolling out Android 16 to the Galaxy S25 series globally. This includes all four devices, and the new Galaxy S25 FE ships with One UI 8 out of the box. Further Galaxy S devices will follow in October.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Galaxy S25<\/li>\n<li>Galaxy S25+<\/li>\n<li>Galaxy S25 Ultra<\/li>\n<li>Galaxy S25 Edge<\/li>\n<li>Galaxy S25 FE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"512\" width=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/1758383831_244_samsung-one-ui-8-intro.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-674201\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Galaxy foldables with Android 16<\/p>\n<p>Samsung\u2019s Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 are currently the only Galaxy foldables with Android 16, with One UI 8 being pre-installed on both. Other Galaxy foldables will follow in October and November according to Samsung\u2019s current schedule.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Galaxy Z Fold 7<\/li>\n<li>Galaxy Z Flip 7<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Galaxy tablets with Android 16<\/p>\n<p>The new Galaxy Tab S11 series ships with Android 16 out of the box, with the update set to expand to other Galaxy tablets in the coming months.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Galaxy Tab S11<\/li>\n<li>Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"512\" width=\"1024\" data-id=\"688125\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/galaxy-tab-s11-13.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-688125\"  \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"512\" width=\"1024\" data-id=\"688124\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/galaxy-tab-s11-12.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-688124\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Samsung Android 16 update schedule<\/p>\n<p>Samsung <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2025\/09\/15\/samsung-galaxy-android-16-one-ui-8-initial-list\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">has confirmed dozens of Galaxy devices <\/a>that will be getting Android 16 in the coming months, but a conclusive schedule is not available just yet. We\u2019ll continue to update the list above as updates roll out, and we\u2019ll also make a note of when the rollout started in the schedule below. As it stands today, Samsung has only mentioned Galaxy devices that will be updated in October and November, but we\u2019ll add additional dates as they become available.<\/p>\n<ul
