\n\tLongtime Marvel star Mark Ruffalo<\/a> is sharing his thoughts on ABC pulling Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> off the air.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a post to Threads<\/a>, Ruffalo re-shared a report claiming Disney\u2019s stock dropped 7% after ABC pre-empted \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d and wrote, \u201cIt\u2019s going to go down a lot further if they cancel his show. Disney does not want to be the ones that broke America.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRuffalo is a major player in Disney\u2019s Marvel universe, which could make his support more influential as the media titan negotiates with Kimmel<\/a> on next steps. He first appeared in 2012\u2019s \u201cThe Avengers\u201d as Bruce Banner, aka The Hulk, and went on to reprise the role in seven additional films and several Marvel TV shows.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cNow You See Me\u201d star is hardly the first<\/a> to speak up for the late-night host. Wanda Sykes, who was set to appear on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d the day taping was canceled, posted a video on Instagram<\/a> defending Kimmel and criticizing the Trump administration.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe said, \u201cLet\u2019s see. He didn\u2019t end the Ukraine war or solve Gaza within his first week. But he did end freedom of speech within his first year. Hey, for those of you who pray, now\u2019s the time to do it. Love you, Jimmy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tFellow late-night frontman Conan O\u2019Brien took to X<\/a> to share his thoughts on the matter. He wrote, \u201cThe suspension of @jimmykimmel and the promise to silence other Late Night hosts for criticizing the administration should disturb everyone on the Right, Left, and Center. It\u2019s wrong and anyone with a conscience knows it\u2019s wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Wednesday, ABC pulled<\/a> \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live!\u201d off its schedule \u201cindefinitely\u201d after Nexstar Media, one of the largest owners of TV stations in the nation, vowed to pre-empt airings of the program after \u201cstrongly objecting\u201d to Kimmel\u2019s comments<\/a> on the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk. <\/p>\n
