Hello, Scottsdale screams.

Fear Farm, one of the Valley’s biggest Halloween events, is relocating to 1475 N. McClintock Drive in Scottsdale.

The new site spans over multiple acres and features four horror-themed attractions, according to Fear Farm General Manager Richard Sicard.

“The move out to Scottsdale is really just to get us more centralized to more cities and have more availability to all of our customers,” Sicard told KTAR News 92.3 FM on Friday. “So, I think it’s going to give a bigger opportunity for more people to come out and see us.”

Fear Farm relocated after a leasing dispute with property owners at its former Glendale site near 99th and Glendale avenues, where it had operated since 2021.

When can Halloween lovers enter the Fear Farm in Scottsdale?

The event runs from Sept. 26 to Nov. 2. Tickets start at $24.99.

Fear Farm’s four uniquely themed haunted experiences aren’t changing:

The Bloodshed: Fans of iconic horror films like “The Texas Chainsaw Massacre” will find this theme familiar. Guests can explore the domain of a killer.

Carnage 3D: Enter a twisted funhouse with sinister clowns, chaotic visuals and vibrant 3D designed to disturb.

Descent into Darkness: This immersive experience, centered around a surreal realm influenced by an ancient, malevolent force, is designed to be psychologically disorienting.

Rise of the Kraken Step: Guests can step aboard a decaying ship shrouded in black fog and oceanic dread. Think of it as a nautical nightmare inspired by deep-sea horror.

However, one iconic aspect of Fear Farm will change: the corn maze, which is being discontinued because the Scottsdale property is not zoned for agricultural use.

“But we do have a hay maze,” Sicard said. “It’s going to be an 8-foot tall hay maze that you’ll navigate just like a traditional corn maze. That’s the only change as far as our attractions.”

What else is new at the Scottsdale Halloween 2025 event?

Parking at Fear Farm will be easier thanks to a redesigned layout that accommodates more vehicles and improved roadways that offer better access compared to the Glendale location.

“We’ve been able to work with the landowner out here to get a improved drive into the parking area,” Sicard said. “It’s much wider to accommodate more lanes (of) entry traffic.”

Another major upgrade is the expanded courtyard, which has doubled in size, giving guests more elbow room to enjoy food and drinks from the event’s vendors. And for the first time, Fear Fest will feature an onsite full-service bar.

The new location also brings added convenience, with easier access to nearby dining and entertainment options, Sicard said.

“The biggest benefit is that we are very close proximity to the the Tempe marketplace, so, you have the opportunity to go over, have dinner, enjoy some entertainment on the south side of the 202,” he said. “Then, just a quick jump right on the other side, the north side of the 202, (and) we’ll be here for all of your other entertainment needs.”

We want to hear from you.

Have a story idea or tip?
