NEW YORK (PIX11) \u2014 New York City Mayor Eric Adams took jabs at Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani in a political cartoon posted on his X account Saturday evening<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The political cartoon has been seen by thousands of social media users, according to the post.<\/p>\n

\u201clol\u2026 is this for real?\u201d posted one social media user.<\/p>\n

\u201cAgreed, this is why we need Cuomo,\u201d wrote another social media user.<\/p>\n

The cartoon shows a road with two options. One side has a sunny house, while the other side features a dark house. The boy in the middle represents New Yorkers, as depicted in the cartoon.<\/p>\n

On the right side, there is a depiction of a house shrouded in darkness, set against a cloudy sky with lightning. The words \u201csocialism,\u201d \u201ccrime,\u201d \u201cfalse promises,\u201d and \u201cZohran Mamdani\u201d are displayed prominently. This imagery seemingly reflects Mamdani\u2019s political stance as a Democratic Socialist.<\/p>\n

On the left, a house is depicted in the sun, with rays of light coming out behind it. It reads \u201csafety, security, a better future.\u201d Eric Adams\u2019 name is displayed prominently.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe choice is clear. Safety and affordability from a proven leader, not false promises and dangerous policies from someone with no real experience,\u201d reads the social media post.<\/p>\n

Mamdani is favored to be the next mayor of New York City, according to recent polls.<\/a><\/p>\n

PIX11 News reached out to the Mayor\u2019s office and Mamdani\u2019s campaign for comment, but they were not immediatley available to comment.<\/p>\n
