Bayern Munich<\/a> was dominating Boca Juniors until a complete defensive breakdown temporarily gave the South American side a boost after Miguel Merentiel\u2019s goal in the 66th minute. <\/p>\n

The Bavarians would strike back to take the lead and ultimately win the game behind a goal from Michael Olise. Still, the meltdown left a bad taste in the mouth of center-back Jonathan Tah, who played a big role in the tally from Merentiel.<\/p>\n

\u201cI take responsibility for the fact that we didn\u2019t organize the rest defense well enough beforehand and that\u2019s how we got into this open situation. I have to organize it better \u2014 then it wouldn\u2019t happen,\u201d Tah told Sky Germany\u2019s Kerry Hau (as captured by @iMiaSanMia<\/a>). <\/p>\n

The play started with a turnover in the attacking end, followed by poor positioning and no ability to track back from Rapha\u00ebl Guerreiro, who was just too far upfield. To complicate matters, Tah took a bad angle and got smoked in a sprint before Josip Stani\u0161i\u0107 overpursued Merentiel, and allowed the attacker to go in alone on Manuel Neuer. <\/p>\n

All the play needed was some Benny Hill \u201cYakety Sax\u201d music, but at least the Bavarians fought back and got the win. Otherwise, the heat could have been worse than what the players were dealing with on the pitch in Miami. <\/p>\n
