Also painted on the pair, which soar 12 feet high, are Texas bootmaker Lucchese\u2019s recognizable 1883 founding year and logo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Big Tex won\u2019t be shoeless at this year\u2019s State Fair of Texas. The 55-foot-tall cowboy, who was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/arts-entertainment\/state-fair\/2025\/09\/19\/watch-live-big-tex-rises-as-state-fair-of-texas-readies-for-its-73rd-year\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/arts-entertainment\/state-fair\/2025\/09\/19\/watch-live-big-tex-rises-as-state-fair-of-texas-readies-for-its-73rd-year\/\">recently erected for the 2025 season<\/a>, has multiple pairs of boots.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">\u201cState Fairs: Growing American Craft\u201d opened on Aug. 22, 2025, and is on display through Sept. 7, 2026. The Renwick Gallery is at 1661 Pennsylvania Ave. NW #1, Washington, D.C.
