\n\tDua Lipa<\/a> is continuing her streak of teaming up with iconic artists on her Radical Optimism World Tour.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Saturday night (Sept. 20), the 30-year-old British-Albanian pop star delivered the third show of her four-night run at New York\u2019s Madison Square Garden, where she surprised fans by bringing out legendary musician Nile Rodgers<\/a> for an electrifying performance of Chic<\/a>\u2019s 1978 disco classic \u201cLe Freak.\u201d Watch it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tLipa has become known for performing a locally inspired cover at stops on her Radical Optimism Tour, which launched its U.S. leg at Chicago\u2019s United Center earlier this month.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring her previous MSG shows earlier in the week, the \u201cDance the Night\u201d singer paid tribute to the city with covers of New York staples, including Alicia Keys\u2019 \u201cNo One\u201d and Blondie\u2019s \u201cOne Way or Another.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHere in New York, I\u2019m actually spoiled with the choice,\u201d Lipa told the crowd before her Blondie cover.<\/p>\n

\n\tAt the tour\u2019s U.S. kickoff in Chicago on Sept. 5, Lipa brought out hometown legend Chaka Khan<\/a> to perform a powerful rendition of the 1983 hit \u201cAin\u2019t Nobody.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe tradition of regional covers began earlier in the year during her stops in Australia and New Zealand, where she performed songs by artists such as AC\/DC, Lorde and Kylie Minogue. She also welcomed special guests including Troye Sivan, Tame Impala and Crowded House\u2019s Neil Finn.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhile the trend continued less frequently during the European leg, she performed Enrique Iglesias\u2019 \u201cHero\u201d<\/a> in Madrid. In London, she brought out Jamiroquai\u2019s Jay Kay<\/a> for \u201cVirtual Insanity\u201d at Wembley Stadium, followed the next night by a guest appearance from Charli XCX<\/a> for her Brat hit \u201c360.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOther notable tributes included The Zutons\u2019 \u201cValerie\u201d (made popular by Amy Winehouse) with the group\u2019s frontman Dave McCabe in Liverpool, The Beatles\u2019 \u201cHey Jude\u201d in the Fab Four\u2019s hometown, and a heartfelt performance of \u201cNothing Compares 2 U\u201d<\/a> in Dublin in honor of late Irish singer Sin\u00e9ad O\u2019Connor.<\/p>\n

\n\tLipa is set to wrap up her four-night MSG stint on Sunday (Sept. 21) before continuing the North American leg with stops in Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle, followed by a run of dates through South America and Mexico.<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter a brief break in August following two months of shows across Europe, Lipa resumed touring in North America with back-to-back shows in Toronto on Sept. 1\u20132.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Radical Optimism World Tour is in support of Lipa\u2019s third studio album, Radical Optimism, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in 2024.
