Ferran Torres<\/a> scored twice as Barcelona<\/a> closed the gap to\u00a0LaLiga<\/a>\u00a0leaders Real Madrid<\/a> to two points after a 3-0 win over Getafe<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Spaniard opened the scoring from a Dani Olmo<\/a> cutback after 15 minutes and he scored his fourth league goal of the season 20 minutes later when calmly slotting home Raphinha<\/a>‘s pass.<\/p>\n

Marcus Rashford<\/a>, Barcelona’s hero in the Champions League win over Newcastle<\/a> on Thursday, replaced Raphinha at half time, and it was not long before he was involved in the goals again, finding Olmo who put the game to bed with a composed finish.<\/p>\n

The hosts had an early chance to test keeper David Soria<\/a> after Mario Mart\u00edn<\/a> fouled Jules Kound\u00e9<\/a> 25 yards out, but an intricate set-play failed to come off as Raphinha screwed a hurried attempt high and wide.<\/p>\n

Barcelona were seeing plenty off the ball, but the game was littered with niggly fouls as the visitors sat deep and tried to hit Flick’s men on the break.<\/p>\n

However, they were undone in stunning fashion with 15 minutes gone when Raphinha picked out Olmo’s run into the box with a fine pass and the Spain<\/a> international audaciously back-heeled the ball to Ferran to fire home first time.<\/p>\n

They might have increased their advantage with 28 minutes gone, but 37-year-old striker Robert Lewandowski<\/a> just failed to get a touch to Pedri’s low cross as he slid in.<\/p>\n

Raphinha, much to his disgust, picked up a 32nd-minute booking for dallying as he prepared to take a free-kick, but his mood improved significantly two minutes later when he ran on to a clearance on the halfway line and played Ferran in behind a flat-footed defence to apply another accomplished finish.<\/p>\n

Soria got down well to repel Lewandowski’s 41st-minute effort, but the crossbar came to the keeper’s rescue two minutes before the break as Ferran was desperately unfortunate not to complete a first-half hat-trick.<\/p>\n

Getafe might have got themselves back into the game within three minutes of the restart when the ball ricocheted off Kounde into the path of Javi Mu\u00f1oz<\/a>, whose right-foot shot flew just wide of\u00a0Joan Garc\u00eda<\/a>‘s far post.<\/p>\n

It was Rashford who carved Getafe open once again with 28 minutes remaining when, after he had been played in down the right by Marc Casad\u00f3<\/a>, he pulled the ball back to Olmo, who finished emphatically to make it 3-0.<\/p>\n
