Kanye West<\/a> has returned to X to announce his upcoming concert in South Africa.<\/p>\n

Ye\u2019s been quiet on the platform for a few weeks since the disastrous launch<\/a> of his cryptocurrency, YZY Money, in August. That changed with a post on Sept. 19 revealing an upcoming show in Johannesburg on Dec. 13.<\/p>\n

In his announcement, Ye referred to the show as his \u201conly performance in South Africa.\u201d According to Nigerian Entertainment Today<\/a>, the show will be Ye\u2019s first performance in South Africa in 12 years.<\/p>\n

Back in 2013, Ye headlined the Castle Lite \u201cFeel the Beat of the Sub-Zero\u201d concert at The Dome in Johannesburg.<\/p>\n

Ye\u2019s new show reveal comes right on the heels of the release of the new documentary, In Whose Name?<\/a>, which covers key moments in Ye\u2019s relationship with the music industry and the public.<\/p>\n

In one scene from the film, Ye argues with Kris Jenner<\/a> about the public\u2019s speculation over his mental health. \u201cNo one from the family has taken any responsibility for my hospital visit,\u201d Ye tells Kris. \u201cBut if you were to go online, that\u2019s 50 percent of what people say, at least. Am I lying?\u201d<\/p>\n

After Kris says \u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter,\u201d Ye responds by screaming, \u201cIt do matter! It does matter! It does matter!\u201d<\/p>\n

In honor of the film coming out, YesJulz<\/a>, who\u2019s claimed previously that she worked for West, shared a picture<\/a> that showed her in a high-tech chair surrounded by screens and connected to a device via her head \u2014 explaining that the reason for that was because of her then-boss.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn honor of the doc dropping today, I\u2019ll be sharing a few of my favorite memories from working with Ye on Snapchat,\u201d she wrote alongside the picture. \u201cThis pic is from that one time he had a brain doctor put a brain scan machine in his hotel room at the Trump towers in Chicago to assess the teams brains.\u201d<\/p>\n

In other recent Ye news, the artist has been accused by Dave Blunts<\/a> of trying to groom him. In an unreleased song that surfaced online in mid-September, Bluntz addressed his relationship with Ye.<\/p>\n

“Cut off Kanye West, because that n***a tried to groom me,” says Blunts in the song\u2019s first clip that hit the internet. “N***as in my city talking bout how they gonna sue me.”<\/p>\n

“Kanye West, he made me diss the Jews,” Bluntz rapped on a longer version of the track that surfaced as well. ” b**chs I’m speaking out this is my truth\/I’m so sick and tired of being groomed… I’m not your cousin, you can’t top me… Two cousins should not have sex\/Two cousins should not 69.”<\/p>\n
