The victim was found by a friend inside a home in the 1600 block of Chihuahua Street<\/p>\n

SAN ANTONIO<\/strong> \u2013 A man was found shot in the head by a friend inside a West Side home early Monday, according to San Antonio police. <\/p>\n

The incident happened around 4:05 a.m. at a home in the 1600 block of Chihuahua Street near South Navidad Street. <\/p>\n

A woman who stayed at the house off and on called police after finding her friend bleeding inside the home. <\/p>\n

Officers arrived and found the man had been shot in the head.<\/p>\n

It is not clear if the victim died at the home or at an area hospital.<\/p>\n

Details about what prompted the shooting are unclear.<\/p>\n

Homicide investigators had detained two people who lived on the property for questioning, police said. Their involvement is unknown. <\/p>\n
