The New York Times <\/p>\n<p class=\"g-text svelte-urmhfi\">A light, 4.3-magnitude earthquake struck in the San Francisco Bay Area on Monday, according to the United States Geological Survey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"g-text svelte-urmhfi\">The temblor happened at 2:56 a.m. Pacific time about 1 mile southeast of Berkeley, Calif., data from the agency shows.<\/p>\n<p class=\"g-text svelte-urmhfi\">U.S.G.S. data earlier reported that the magnitude was 4.6.<\/p>\n<p class=\"g-text svelte-urmhfi\">As seismologists review available data, they may revise the earthquake\u2019s reported magnitude.
