The Pok\u00e9mon Trading Card Game: Mega Evolution Discovery Experience<\/a> is rolling into DTLA’s Magic Box LA (1933 S. Broadway) from\u00a0Friday, September 26 through Sunday, September 28, and it\u2019s more than just another pop-up. This is a full-on immersive celebration of all things Mega Evolution.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll want to carve out time between 9am and 8pm each day, because this experience is built to be savored. Entry is free, but you will need a ticket via Eventbrite<\/a>. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of six per order, so don\u2019t sleep on getting yours.<\/p>\n

Once inside Magic Box LA, you\u2019ll find yourself walking through larger-than-life versions of Mega Evolution Pok\u00e9mon cards. Think Mega Lucario glowing in a forest, Mega Camerupt in fiery volcanic digs, snow-capped surroundings for Mega Abomasnow and more. Each Pok\u00e9mon is staged in settings inspired by its own magic, so it\u2019s not just about looking, it\u2019s about feeling like you\u2019ve been transported into a world built for card fans, hobbyists and casual observers alike.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of photo ops with everything from statues and towering cards to dramatic artwork and immersive visuals. Visit each card station, collect stamps and, once you reach the end, snag a Pok\u00e9mon TCG Fun Pack (while supplies last) as a bonus for your trek through Mega Evolution land.<\/p>\n

Even cooler? You\u2019ll get a peek at art from Mega Evolution\u2014Phantasmal Flames<\/a>, the next TCG expansion releasing later this year. If you\u2019re already collecting or just really into the design side of these cards, those previews are a big draw.<\/p>\n
