The Big 12 announced the conference schedule for the 2025-26 women\u2019s basketball season on Monday, with Colorado beginning on the road.<\/p>\n
Following a 12-game nonconference slate, the Buffs will travel to Tempe, Ariz., to take on Arizona State on Dec. 21 in the conference opener.<\/p>\n
CU will then take a holiday break before a pair of home games, against Arizona on Dec. 31 and Cincinnati on Jan. 3.<\/p>\n
The Big 12 schedule also includes home games against Iowa State, Oklahoma State, West Virginia, TCU, BYU, Texas Tech and Utah. In addition to ASU, the Buffs will have road dates with Baylor, Oklahoma State, UCF, Kansas State, Kansas, Houston, Arizona and BYU.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Big 12 is one of the toughest conferences in the country, and every night is a battle,\u201d head coach JR Payne said in a press release. \u201cWe\u2019re excited about this schedule because it gives us an opportunity to compete against some of the best programs in women\u2019s basketball.\u201d<\/p>\n
CU will hold its first practice of the new season on Thursday and will host Colorado School of Mines in an exhibition game on Oct. 29. The Buffs will officially tip off the season on Nov. 6 when New Mexico visits the CU Events Center.<\/p>\n
Start times and TV assignments will be announced for games at a later time.<\/p>\n
