\u201cAnd Erika Kirk’s mercy was one of the greatest acts of grace this world has ever seen,\u201d she added. \u201cMay God continue to watch over Erika and their beautiful children.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Leavitt also scolded House Democrats for being the exception to the \u201cunity\u201d seen at the memorial service after 58 voted no and 38 voted present on a resolution to honor the “life and legacy”\u00a0of the late conservative activist on Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\nThe measure got bipartisan support in a 310-58 vote, with both Democrats and Republicans having quickly risen to condemn political violence in the wake of Kirk’s assassination.<\/p>\n
\u201cA number of those same Democrats took to the House floor to smear Charlie Kirk’s name,\u201d she said. \u201cThe man wasn’t even buried yet, and Democrat members of Congress were denigrating his memory on the floor of the House of Representatives. This was truly a sad moment, and a clear reflection of how radical the Democrat Party has become.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
