Although the driver wasn\u2019t traveling recklessly, they had a close call with a pedestrian crossing a street at some point.<\/p>\n<p>The driver ran over a spike strip during the chase and dragged it for a considerable amount of time. Thanks to the slow driving, police were able to successfully execute a PIT maneuver near Los Feliz Boulevard and Serrano Avenue, disabling the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>The driver then barricaded themselves in the vehicle before eventually getting out about 40 minutes later. That individual\u2019s name was not released.
