The Giants<\/a> (0-3) are still in search of their first win of the season as they host the Los Angeles Chargers<\/a> (3-0) on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Following a 37-point outburst and 450-yard performance through the air from QB Russell Wilson in Week 2, the veteran QB reverted to a similar performance he had in Week 1 against the Commanders<\/a>, where he was inefficient moving the ball downfield and couldn’t get the offense going at all in a 22-9 loss to the reigning AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs last Sunday night.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t get any easier for Big Blue, who now host the Chargers, one of the six undefeated teams remaining in the NFL.<\/p>\n

The Chargers looked poised for their first loss of 2025 this past Sunday, but rallied late as they scored 10 points in less than a minute to stun the Broncos<\/a>, 23-20, in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

The pick: Chargers 28, Giants 17<\/p>\n

Here’s why:\u00a0The Chargers are in a much better place than the Giants right now. Could Big Blue get a bump if Jaxson Dart takes over as the starter? Maybe. And being at 3-0, the Chargers might overlook the Giants a little bit after their loss combined with Los Angeles\u2019 big win over the Broncos. There is also the issue of the Chargers\u2019 body clocks being at 10 a.m. at kickoff. In the end, it\u2019s hard predicting the Giants making the decisive plays to win games right now.<\/p>\n

Bert Bainbridge<\/p>\n

The pick:<\/strong>\u00a0Chargers 28, Giants 14<\/p>\n

Here’s why:<\/strong>\u00a0If Wilson continues to struggle, it’ll be a matter of when, not if, rookie QB Jaxson Dart gets the call under center for more than just a play or two at a time. Keep in mind this could be a letdown spot for the Chargers, who are coming off that miraculous, late game comeback against the Broncos in Week 3 and are traveling east for a 1 p.m. game at MetLife.<\/p>\n

Even if QB Justin Herbert and the Chargers offense get off to a slow start, this strong defensive unit will have enough to take this game over. Los Angeles will remain undefeated with a double digit victory, as the Chargers keep the Giants winless heading into Week 5.<\/p>\n

Bob Jordan<\/p>\n

The pick: <\/strong>Chargers 33, Giants 10<\/p>\n

Here’s why: <\/strong>The Giants opened the week as almost a touchdown home underdog. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell should have by now suspended Chargers’ coach Jim Harbaugh due to the NCAA’s sanctions stemming from the Michigan sign-stealing scandal (there’s precedent) so this to many will be another tainted win by John’s brother.<\/p>\n

The pick:<\/strong> Chargers 31, Giants 10<\/p>\n

Here’s why:<\/strong> The wheels are starting to come off following another ugly loss, and now the meek Giants offense has to face one of the best defenses in football. The Chargers should have little trouble handling Big Blue.<\/p>\n

Dave Rivera<\/p>\n

The pick:<\/strong> Chargers 27, Giants 13<\/p>\n

Here’s why:<\/strong> Giants fans are going to be chanting “We Want Dart!”<\/a> as they enter the building Sunday afternoon. They’re going to get their wish in the second half, but by then, the Chargers will have a comfortable lead.<\/p>\n

The pick:<\/strong> Chargers 34, Giants 14<\/p>\n

Here’s why: <\/strong>The Chargers, fueled by Justin Herbert and a defense that’s among the best in the NFL, are a very good football team. The Giants are not.<\/p>\n
