It\u2019s not driven by race. It\u2019s more of an assessment of what neighborhoods are being under-taxed versus over-taxed,\u201d Mamdani <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/meet-the-press\/video\/zohran-mamdani-says-i-don-t-think-that-we-should-have-billionaires-full-interview-242434117989\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told NBC News\u2019 \u201cMeet the Press\u201d on Sunday.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mamadani doubled down on his tax plan for \u201cricher and whiter\u201d neighborhoods Sunday.
