All eyes are on Caleb Miligan in tonight’s Emmerdale as he continues to wrestle with John Sugden’s evil ultimatum<\/a>. The businessman is under severe pressure to help John escape from the country<\/a>, otherwise the ruthless villain will expose the truth about Anthony Fox’s murder<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Caleb has agreed to comply with John’s demands, as he’s desperate to keep his wife Ruby out of prison. But could Caleb still have a trick up his sleeve, with a little help from Cain?<\/p>\n

1. Caleb’s caught sneaking out\"caleb<\/p>\n

Caleb’s day starts early as he sneaks out of Mill Cottage to begin his John-related mission. He hopes to get away without his wife Ruby knowing, as he doesn’t want to unnecessarily upset her with fresh fears over Anthony and the police.<\/p>\n

Sadly for Caleb, things won’t be so simple as Ruby immediately catches him creeping around and demands to know what he’s up to.<\/p>\n

2. Jai poses a threat to Caleb’s plan\"jai<\/p>\n

As per John’s instructions, Caleb is preparing to drive one of his lorries to Rotterdam \u2013 with the dangerous fugitive secretly stowed away in the back. For now, the only real problem for Caleb is prying eyes at work…<\/p>\n

As Caleb tries to carry out the plan, busybody Jai lurks around the depot. Will he spot that something is amiss?<\/p>\n

3. Ruby visits Aaron\"ruby<\/p>\n

Aaron struggles with dark moods at the hospital<\/a>, as he’s harshly blaming himself for recent events with John. While Aaron isn’t responsible for his husband’s actions, he wishes that he’d spotted the warning signs sooner \u2013 and listened to Mack and Robert when they kept raising the alarm over John’s behaviour.<\/p>\n

Ruby visits Aaron and tries to buoy him, reminding him that recent events simply aren’t his fault. There’s already a strong bond between Ruby and Aaron after their previous heart-to-hearts earlier in the year, but can she get through to him?<\/p>\n

4. Caleb betrays John\"caleb<\/p>\n

Caleb drives John away from the village but has a nasty surprise in store, taking him into the woods rather than heading to the ferry terminal as planned.<\/p>\n

When John comes bursting out the back of the vehicle to seek an explanation, he’s horrified as Caleb is pointing a gun at him.<\/p>\n

5. Enter Cain\"cain<\/p>\n

ITV<\/p>\n

John doesn’t seem overly rattled by his enemy’s bold move and openly scoffs at the idea that Caleb would really shoot him dead. As far as he’s concerned, Caleb doesn’t have the nerve.<\/p>\n

But there’s a twist that John didn’t see coming when Cain emerges from the shadows and grabs the gun \u2013 just as Caleb had planned all along. Will Cain now carry out the ultimate revenge and finally secure justice for Nate’s death<\/a>? There are plenty more twists and turns ahead before the episode ends\u2026<\/p>\n
