A group of eight men, including a man who was briefly added to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives<\/a> List, is set to be arraigned in Fort Worth Federal court Tuesday following a protest at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center that escalated into an officer being shot, officials say.<\/p>\n

Cameron Arnold, Nathan Baumann, Zachary Evetts, Bradford Morris, Seth Sikes, Ines Soto, John Thomas and Benjamin Song are scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the U.S. District Court in Fort Worth, according to Katherine Miller, a spokesperson for the United States Attorney\u2019s office for the Northern District of Texas. <\/p>\n

The group was arrested following a July Fourth attack<\/a> at the Prairieland Detention Center<\/a> that left an Alvarado officer shot.<\/p>\n

Six women were arraigned on Monday<\/a>. At least 15 people have been arrested so far in connection to the attack. <\/p>\n

The July 4 attack has been described by federal authorities as a \u201cplanned ambush with the attempt to kill ICE correction officers.\u201d The Alvarado officer who was shot in the neck that night survived.<\/p>\n

Authorities arrested at least 10 people at the detention center in the 1200 block of Sunflower Lane in Johnson County, Nancy Larson, the acting U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Texas, said in a news release.<\/p>\n

On July 7, Daniel Rolando Sanchez Estrada was arrested as well on tampering with evidence and conspiracy to tamper with evidence.<\/p>\n

Song was arrested<\/a> nearly two weeks after the shooting. After he fled from the detention center, a statewide manhunt ensued when the state\u2019s Department of Public Safety added him to the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List.<\/p>\n

Song, along with the seven other men to be arraigned, face three counts of attempted murder of a federal officer and three counts of discharging a firearm in relation to a crime of violence.<\/p>\n

Two others, Thomas and Lynette Sharp, were charged after Song\u2019s arrest for accessory and are accused of helping Song evade arrest, federal authorities said in a news release.<\/p>\n
