Country bad boy Morgan Wallen<\/strong> is once again back in danger of being benched after recklessly hurling a bat and hitting the wife of a famed baseball player \u2014 and sources say friends and family are so concerned they\u2019re planning an intervention before it\u2019s game over.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe needs to get his act together before it\u2019s too late,\u201d says one industry insider. \u201cThese mounting public embarrassments are driving away fans and dismantling his career.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cLast Night\u201d singer swung the bat in an attempt to emulate the famous bat flip of former MLB star Jos\u00e9 Bautista<\/strong> \u2014 but the flying missile careened sideways and slammed Bautista\u2019s wife, Neisha<\/strong>, as she was recording the action on her cell phone.<\/p>\n

As seen in a clip<\/a> posted to Neisha\u2019s Instagram, the stunned baseballer\u2019s wife gives a loud, sharp cry and drops her phone. \u201cS**t. You okay?\u201d someone can be heard asking her. Neisha tells the concerned spectator that she\u2019s fine.<\/p>\n

\u201cMorgan is saying he didn\u2019t mean to hurt anybody, but that doesn\u2019t excuse his actions,\u201d says a shocked insider.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis careless behavior keeps happening again and again and his pals fear he\u2019s going to destroy his career. They\u2019re ready to stage an intervention to talk sense into him and get him to grow up before he loses it all.\u201d<\/p>\n

As readers know, Morgan has been embroiled in one scandal after another. Earlier this year, he caused a stir when he walked off SNL before the final credits rolled, stunning the audience and host Mikey Madison<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In April 2024, a liquored-up Morgan threw a chair off the sixth-floor rooftop of fellow country singer Eric Church<\/strong>\u2019s downtown Nashville bar, narrowly missing two cops on the street below. He was charged with felony counts of reckless endangerment and a misdemeanor of disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n

He eventually pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment in a sweetheart plea deal that allowed him to skate with seven days in a DUI education center and two years of probation.<\/p>\n

In 2021, Morgan was captured on video saying the N-word while partying with pals, an incident that got him dropped from the airwaves and suspended from his label.<\/p>\n

And in 2020, he was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct after being thrown out of Kid Rock<\/strong>\u2019s Nashville bar. The charges were later dismissed.<\/p>\n
